Hello there, I’m Brenda-Lee

My love for adventure, and for living a big, juicy Venti life is one of the reasons I find myself on planes, trains and SUVs on a regular basis. How can we not find this big, diverse, complex world utterly mesmerizing?

I have been a wanderer since my first summer job in Seattle had me crossing the border with a backpack and beat up suitcase at 15 years old. I could not drive yet so my parents dropped me off in June and came back for me at the end of August. I fell in love with adventure and experiences that were tangible, spiritual and challenging.

And I just kept going.

From high school band trips to Europe to a year abroad in the UK, clutching and unfolding wrinkled paper maps while traversing busy train stations, grimy bus depots and {sometimes questionable} youth hostels across Europe in the late 1980s, my curiosity and love for people and places continued to deepen and evolve.

Over the last four decades (ouch that sounds old) I have had the joy and privilege of being a traveller to some truly remarkable, stunning places. I have met the most fascinating people and have been able to experience unspeakable joy in sacred and often unexpected places.

As of September 2024, I decided to channel my love for adventure, my passion for curiosity, and my heart to help humans flourish by sharing my experience and skills as a connected travel agent with Travel Best Bets.

I know travel is a privilege and it is not for everyone. It can be expensive, stressful, frustrating and disappointing. And yet, it can also be something altogether transformative and life-giving. It can realign us and reset our hearts in ways we never imagined.
